Terms of Service

1. The service

PipeIO connects a business's WhatsApp number to that business's own system or to PipeIO's agent, and relays messages between the business's customers and that system. The service runs on the WhatsApp Business Platform and is therefore also subject to the WhatsApp Business Terms and the WhatsApp Business Policy.

2. Who may use it

Businesses and professionals in Israel, aged 18 or over, who own or are authorised to use the WhatsApp number they connect. The agreement is with whoever connects the business, who confirms they are authorised to do so.

3. The business's obligations

• Answer customers lawfully, including under privacy and anti-spam law. Business-initiated messages go only to people who agreed to receive them.
• Send no content prohibited by WhatsApp's policy: fraud, harassment, unlawful content, or content the business has no right to distribute.
• Keep its API signing key safe and rotate it if exposed. The business is responsible for what its system returns to customers.
• Manage its own list of people allowed to answer through the number, and remove those who leave.

4. PipeIO's obligations

• Relay messages both ways promptly and completely, subject to the availability of WhatsApp and of the business's system.
• Store no message content, as set out in the Privacy Policy.
• Tell the business about a lasting fault or a material change to the service.

5. Payment

The service is priced per connected WhatsApp number, as a fixed monthly fee agreed with the business. Meta's message charges are billed by Meta directly to the business at Meta's rates. An agreed price does not change without 30 days' notice.

6. Suspension and termination

The business may stop at any time by email; the service closes at the end of the billing period. PipeIO may suspend a business that breaches section 3 or WhatsApp's policy, after notice where possible and at once where the breach endangers customers or the number. On termination the business's details are deleted as the Privacy Policy describes.

7. Liability

The service is provided as is. PipeIO is not liable for the content of replies the business's system returns, for WhatsApp's availability, or for indirect loss. PipeIO's total liability to a business is limited to the fees that business paid in the three months before the event.

8. Intellectual property

The service, its code and the PipeIO brand belong to Nadav Landesman. The business's data and its customers' data belong to them; PipeIO uses it only to provide the service.

9. Law and venue

Israeli law applies; the competent court is in the Central District of Israel.

10. Changes

Changes are published here and the date at the top is updated. A material change is sent to connected businesses 30 days in advance.
